While scouring the web for real estate blogs I could borrow an idea from I came across a pretty good one from the folks at photographyforrealesate.net. It talked about honesty in marketing; brutal honesty.
It highlighted a television commercial for Cullman Liquidation Center, which sells mobile homes, that reminded me very much of another blog by Brian Block, also known as Desperate Realtor.
Now I'm not sure if this technique of obvious self-deprecating humor works as a marketing tool, but it sure gets your attention. And really that's half the battle, so perhaps it does. I guess that's for you to decide.
